The Sporting News Grill Located at the Holiday Inn Westbury - Long Island Prepares to Be a Host Viewing Location for Super Bowl Sunday with Many Food and Drink Specials
Westbury, NY (PRWEB) January 17, 2015 -- On Sunday, February 1st Super Bowl XLIX – (49) will be broadcasted around the world, and tens of millions of people will certainly tune in, whether it’s for the game, the commercials, the halftime show, or perhaps for all three. Super Bowl Sunday, sometimes referred to as Super Sunday is the second largest day of food consumption in the United States, which is a close second to Thanksgiving. Many would like to see it become an official National Holiday, and some just consider it that already. While many choose to host parties in their homes or at friends’ and relatives’ houses, many still enjoy going out and being surrounded by other football fans, and those that just enjoy the event’s energy and festivities. In the end, going out may just be less expensive these days and certainly less work for the typical hosts.
The Holiday Inn Westbury – Long Island and the Sporting News Grill (SNG) have developed a variety of specials to appeal to a vast array of fans that will celebrate the day. SNG is a comfortable and casual restaurant and bar with 18 large flat screen HD TVs for viewing optimization. During Super Bowl Sunday SNG will be offering $3.00 domestic and $4.00 imported bottled beer. Other drink specials are to include $5.00 beer flights, $8.00 pitchers and $14.00 domestic buckets of beer. SNG will have their full dining menu available, but they have also created some great specials for the big game. Specials will include their exclusive in-house made Super Skins, First Down Fries and Touchdown Tacos. Throughout the game, their freshly prepared chicken wings will only be fifty cents each, and during halftime, their specialty beef and chicken sliders will be half price. Their new bar menu will be in full swing and their new specialty items that are typically reserved for specific theme days will be made available, including their new pizza menu. Special dining menus and drink specials will be available from 3:00 pm to the end of the game.
SNG will of course have the Restaurant and Bar decorated for the Super Bowl Sunday festivities, with football décor throughout, which will undoubtedly include the colors and logos of the two teams that will be going head-to-head. To keep those in attendance engaged and even more excited about the game, SNG will be raffling off one – (1) AFC team jersey and one – (1) NFC jersey. Guests will receive one raffle ticket for every entrée ordered throughout the game, and by answering NFL football trivia questions correctly, which will be asked by the restaurant wait staff and managers.

SNG seating will be based on a first come, first serve basis so guests are encouraged to arrive early. SNG will be offering some pregame specials as well, but the majority will be offered during the much anticipated main event.
