New Roads, LA (PRWEB) January 19, 2015
The Pangburn Group today announced that Director of Corporate Client Relations, Trisha G. Morrison, has been appointed Chief Operating Officer, a position left vacant since the untimely passing of former COO, Gregory J. Mitchell, on February 3, 2013. As COO Trisha will oversee all business units including Client Relations and Plan Administration. She will also continue to be heavily involved in the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Client Relations Unit. Trisha joins CFO/CTO, Prasanth R. Pasala; Sr. Vice President & Actuary, Howard D. Stern; President, Wayne A. Pangburn; and CEO, Brian E. Pangburn in rounding out the Senior Management Team at The Pangburn Group.
The Pangburn Group's CEO, Brian E. Pangburn, said, "Trisha is a natural fit to be our Chief Operating Officer. She has been with The Pangburn Group for over eleven years, and has been involved in almost every facet of our operations. During her years as an Account Manager and as Director of our Defined Contribution Admin Unit she has been responsible for the administration and recordkeeping of complex nonqualified executive benefit plans. As Director of Corporate Client Relations she has been involved in the consultation, design, and on-boarding of hundreds of new and takeover plans. She is well-versed in the intricacies of Code Section 409A, which governs NQDC plan design, and uniquely equipped to deal with both the documentary and operational issues that can arise in the course of plan administration. Her background in Human Resources has been invaluable to the company as we've grown from fifteen to fifty employees during her time at The Pangburn Group."
Prior to joining The Pangburn Group, Trisha worked in the human resources field focusing on recruitment, retention, compensation and total rewards. Trisha graduated summa cum laude from Louisiana State University in 2000, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in business management.
