Lucky Coffee Productions Announces Pencils Down! Selection For Sacramento International Film Festival
East Lansing, Michigan (PRWEB) March 04, 2015 -- Lucky Coffee Productions announced that filmmaker Brian S. Kalata's documentary Pencils Down! The 100 Days Of The Writers Guild Strike has been named an official selection of the 2015 Sacramento International Film Festival. The film will be shown as part of the closing day activities on May 3, 2015.
The film began as Kalata's filmed account of the events occurring during the historic 100-day Writers Guild of America strike in 2007-08. Kalata then blended this ground-level footage with one-on-one interviews with several industry notables to create a film that offers an intimate look at the business of entertainment.
"I am honored to have the film selected," Kalata said "I look forward to premiering at Sacramento and want to thank everyone involved in making this film."
The 2015 Sacramento International Film Festival runs from April 25 - May 3.
