UberPrints Sponsors SLINGSHOT Festival
Athens, GA (PRWEB) March 09, 2015 -- UberPrints, Inc., a leading online platform for creating customized t-shirts and other apparel, is pleased to announce that it is sponsoring the third annual SLINGSHOT Festival in Athens, GA. The SLINGSHOT Festival is described as an international festival of music, electronic art, and technology.
The festival takes place on March 26-28, 2015, and “takes over” downtown Athens, GA, with events and attractions spread out over 5 city blocks and dozens of venues. SLINGSHOT spotlights international, national, and local acts on stage, as well as boundary-pushing artwork and talks from leading innovators in the tech industry.
The first annual SLINGSHOT Festival took place as a single-day event in 2013, and was funded largely through a successful Kickstarter campaign. The festival was a success, and in 2014 it was expanded into a 3-day event. Funding for the festival now comes from a variety of sources, including sponsorships from local businesses as well as national brands. Past Slingshot Festival performers include Kishi Bashi, Kevin Barnes from of Montreal, Jonah Ray, and Doug Benson. 2015 is Slingshot's largest year yet and will feature performances by James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem, Jamie xx, DJ Windows 98 (aka Win Butler of Arcade Fire), Omar Souleyman, with comedy from Kyle Kinane, and Ron Funches, among others.

Founded more than a decade ago, UberPrints has created a web app that allows its customers to get creative and create custom t-shirts or a variety of other apparel with their own designs.
