Discover Lehigh Valley TV Brings Local Excitement to the Small Screen

Discover Lehigh Valley, the official Destination Marketing Organization for Lehigh and Northampton counties in eastern Pennsylvania, is proud to partner with both RCN and Service Electric television stations to provide Discover Lehigh Valley TV on Channel 189 in the greater Lehigh Valley area.
The channel, which runs 24-hours per day, features Lehigh Valley’s best attractions, events, restaurants, and is aimed at promoting the area as a tourist destination, as well as helping area residents find more to do.
“Discover Lehigh Valley TV is another way for Discover Lehigh Valley to reach not only those living in the greater Lehigh Valley area, but also those visiting from out of town,” Lilly said. “We have also partnered with a number of local hotels to have Discover Lehigh Valley TV featured on their in-room programming for guests to view before heading out in the area.”

See what makes each of these stops special in these four-to-seven minute videos.
- DISHcover Lehigh Valley: Watch as we visit Lehigh Valley restaurants such as Molinari’s, Youell’s Oyster House, and more and go behind-the-scenes with restaurant owners and top chefs. These videos can also sometimes result in a cook off between Discover Lehigh Valley Executive Vice President, Kim Lilly (a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America) and the chefs in charge.
- Pet Friendly Travel Accommodations and Attractions: Many people travel with their pets, but it can be difficult to know exactly which hotels or areas cater to pets, or are even a little bit pet friendly. This video series shows you where you can stay with your pet, such as Historic Hotel Bethlehem, or where you can take your pet, including a variety of Lehigh Valley parks.
