The Last Well Partners with Liberty University to Launch TEN Campaign to Bring Clean Water to Liberia
Sulphur Springs, Texas (PRWEB) March 19, 2015 -- The Last Well (TLW) is proud to announce the launch of its TEN partnership initiative with Liberty University. Over the next 10 days, students will be encouraged to donate $10 to TLW. Typically it takes $20 to give a Liberian access to clean water, but as committed TLW donors have agreed to match each student gift, this will be achieved with half that amount.
“We’re grateful to Liberty University for helping us reach our goal of bringing clean water border to border in Liberia by 2020,” said TLW founder and director Dr. Todd Phillips. “For the price of two venti lattes, a student can give the gift of life and we hope that our team can impact 13,500 people as a result of their generosity.”
During the campaign, which runs through March 27, people can visit a donation web page to support the TEN campaign. It’s not only students who can give – anyone can pledge $10 securely through the campaign page to help reach the fundraising goal of $135,000.
100 percent of each gift goes directly to work in Liberia. Since the Ebola outbreak began in early 2014, TLW has provided water in Jesus' name to 277,431 Liberians, an estimated 5% of whom will no longer die from water-related diseases.
