ZeroLag Hires Industry Veteran Andrew Ely as First President
Los Angeles, CA. (PRWEB) April 16, 2015 -- ZeroLag, a leader in private cloud and managed application hosting, today announced that it has hired industry veteran Andrew Ely as the company's first president. Ely brings almost three decades of successful industry experience to ZeroLag. As President, Ely will be charged with setting ZeroLag’s strategic direction, maintaining ZeroLag’s client satisfaction and accelerating the growth of ZeroLag’s top-line revenue.
Ely will prioritize the strengthening of existing relationships and the forging of new partnerships with leading go-to-market consulting firms, ZeroLag said.
"That is of paramount importance," stressed ZeroLag's CEO Greg Strelzoff. "We project that the majority of the company’s future growth will occur from aligning ZeroLag’s managed cloud services with a select number of front-end consulting firms, allowing us to continue to offer the highest-quality end-to-end service to our customers.
"And Andrew is exceptionally qualified -- with the right set of leadership skills, the deep experience, and the acumen and vision -- to take us to the next level of accelerated growth and success."
Throughout his career, Strelzoff continued, "Andrew has been exposed to all the services firms of scale in both the enterprise and mid-market spaces. He has gained a solid understanding of their services, their value propositions, their areas of desired growth, and the areas where they have voids and need key go-to-market partnerships."
Ely most recently spent 11 years at Accenture LLP, where he held multiple global leadership roles. At Accenture, Ely and his teams were responsible for driving growth across all portions of the firm’s services, focusing on high-value consulting through managed services.
Ely was recognized as one of the core leadership members responsible for growing revenue for Accenture’s Global Technology Consulting practice from $200 million to over $2.4 billion. Ely, who began his career with Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC), noted that he has "benefited immensely" from having worked with several successful start-ups, such as Rasna, SGI, BroadVision, and PeopleSoft.
He added: "Whether it's a startup or an established company, I've learned that the requisites for success are always the same: vision, ability to motivate and empower, passion for the work, and a dose of humility. Since ZeroLag is already fostering those attributes, I'm all the more confident of great success."
