Lymphoma Research Foundation Set to Host Annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon at Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ
West Orange, NJ (PRWEB) May 04, 2015 -- The Lymphoma Research Foundation (LRF) – the nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to funding innovative lymphoma research and serving the lymphoma community through a comprehensive series of education programs, outreach initiatives and patient services – is set to host its annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon at the historic Mayfair Farms in West Orange, NJ on June 1, 2015. Since 2010, the event has raised nearly $500,000 for innovative research programs through LRF.
This year, the Lymphoma Research Foundation has partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue at the Mall at Short Hills, Daniella Ortiz Design of Palm Beach, Isabelle K Jewelry, Jodi Rose Originals, and Tiffany's Trinkets. Sponsorships are still available, and individual tickets can be purchased at http://www.lymphoma.org/AceLuncheon, starting at $125.
"Saks Fifth Avenue at The Mall at Short Hills is proud to partner with the Lymphoma Research Foundation for its sixth annual Ace Lymphoma Luncheon; we are excited to feature makeover consultations from Guerlain Beauty to help raise awareness and funds for this very worthy fundraising event," said Kristi Brink, Vice President, General Manager of Saks Fifth Avenue Short Hills. "We are always looking for ways to give back to our local community, and with nearly 2500 people diagnosed with lymphoma each year in New Jersey this is a very important cause for us.”
The Luncheon kicks-off at 10:30 am with a high-end shopping event in which vendors will be donating a percentage of their sales to the Lymphoma Research Foundation. Attendees will enjoy gifts from a variety of boutiques, as well as exciting raffle and silent auction packages. During the lunch portion, guests will hear an update from world renowned lymphoma expert, Morton Coleman, MD, New York-Presbyterian Hospital, Weill Cornell Medical Center.
“When I set out to start the Ace Lymphoma Luncheon to honor my daughter, I was resolved to approach this fundraiser with the same determination and tenacity with which she approached her treatment,” said Vivian Friedman, Honorary Chair of the Ace Lymphoma Luncheon. “I have been proud to see this event grow and develop over the years into a truly momentous show of support for LRF and the programs they support.”
In addition to Vivian Friedman, this year’s Ace Luncheon will be co-chaired by Gladys Cook, Toby Cooperman, Rellye Corwin, and Dr. Marcia Robbins-Wilf.
