PrimePay recently announced the promotion of Jeff Sorrell to Vice President of Payroll Tax Services. In his new position, Sorrell will be responsible for leading the national Tax Services team, streamlining processes and creating consistencies across the country.
Sorrell obtained a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Mount Saint Mary College and his master’s degree in finance from the University of Laverne. Sorrell also earned his credentials to become a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP).
During his tenure that began two years ago, Sorrell has evolved PrimePay’s tax department in the Northeast region. Regional tax managers from the West, South and Midwest and their respective teams will now report directly to Sorrell as he continues to operate out of PrimePay’s West Chester headquarters.
“I’m excited to be leading the tax organization across the country. I’m looking forward to working with our talented associates to make it easier to service our clients,” Sorrell said of his new opportunity.
Sorrell gained over 18 years of experience in the payroll industry working for a large national payroll company. There, he managed several departments including Trust Accounting, Payroll, and Payroll Tax. That managerial experience will carry over into his new position as he continues to develop other departments across the nation.

Sorrell and wife Jennifer reside in Downingtown, PA with their two children and dog.
