Minneapolis, MN (PRWEB) May 16, 2015
Governor Mark Dayton has proclaimed May 16th Minnesota Rotary Day. International Rotary District 5950 is celebrating another successful year in supporting their communities and projects worldwide at Mall of America and Radisson Blu. In true non-partisanship the proclamation will be read by Senator David Hann. District 5950 will be celebrating heroes in our community all day. The events start with an attempt to break a Guinness World record for holding up the most flags. The record is previously held by Rotary in Sydney Australia. Highlights of the event include Mark Rosen talking about his experience with Miracle on Ice, improv maven Dudley Riggs being interviewed on his history and a done in a day project that will attempt to certify 190 people with AED/CPR training.
