TockDock 18K Gold Bedside Stand For Apple Watch Announced
Nashville, Tennessee (PRWEB) May 24, 2015 -- Today KickShark, a technology accelerator program in Nashville, Tennessee, announces its 18K Gold Edition TockDock bedside dock for the Apple Watch. The $400 stand is made using the same method as gold jewelry and is intended for Apple Watch Edition and Apple Watch owners who prefer a more luxurious bedside holder for their Watch.

The company says that the TockDock Watch stand is made from solid 316L stainless steel, the same material as the Apple Watch, using the lost wax casting method, is meticulously hand polished to a mirror shine, and is then bathed in a pure 18K gold coating. The TockDock includes a soft silicone rubber upper insert that holds the Apple charger disk, and a silicone rubber ring underneath to protect the nightstand’s surface. Using the TockDock is as simple as placing the Watch against the exposed charger disk, which magnetically grabs and holds the Watch in place overnight.
The TockDock Gold Edition sells for $399, but is now available on IndieGoGo for $349 for early bird project backers.
There is also a Standard Edition TockDock model offered that does not have the 18K gold coating. This mirror polished stainless steel model sells for $199, but is available to IndieGoGo early bird backers for only $149.
