Rally hits new benchmark in attendee engagement, concurrent meetings, and attendee volume on Azure hosted SaaS offering

Rally Labs (Rally), a Microsoft Silver Cloud Platform Partner, today announced general availability of its newly released integrated Skype for Business™ SaaS offering hosted on Microsoft Azure™. Migration of core Rally applications to Azure provides access to limitless scale, rapid development of innovative features, and unparalleled global reach.    

“Our investment to develop on Azure has allowed Rally to scale to record levels. We’ve hit attendance, and event concurrence utilization records nearly every day this month,” stated Rally CEO Jonathan Ortiz-Myers. The move to Azure also provides Rally developers access to rapidly develop innovative features via its open platform as a service (PaaS) architecture. “The move to Azure has already paid great dividends. We’re seeing increased development velocity, resulting in greater productivity, and innovative product design,” commented Ortiz-Myers.

Taking full advantage of Azure, Rally Labs latest release includes a number of behind the scenes improvements surrounding scale, reliability, and security.

Customer facing feature improvements include:

Single sign-on
Active Directory federation (ADFS)
Reporting and analytics enhancements
Attendee registration single sign- on (LinkedIn, Google + and Windows)
