Catapult Learning, LLC, Announces Hiring of Andrew Post as Vice President and General Manager for Catapult Academy
Camden, New Jersey (PRWEB) June 15, 2015 -- Catapult Learning, a leading technology-enabled K-12 services provider, is pleased to announce the addition of Andrew Post as Vice President and General Manager for Catapult Academy, the company’s dropout recovery program. In his new position, Mr. Post will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the program, enrollment and student achievement, professional development and monitoring for teachers and administrators, and managing resources of school sites in districts throughout Florida and Georgia. Mr. Post will also manage resources for the expansion of Catapult Academy in California and other states.
A former classroom teacher and school and district administrator, Mr. Post brings a strong record of academic program development and management experience to Catapult Academy’s senior management team. He has served in administrative positions in several Florida school districts as well as founded an education nonprofit focused on increasing students’ chances to become high school graduates. As Assistant Superintendent in Duval County Public Schools, Mr. Post was responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring the district’s Bridge to Success program; he was also successful in leading processes that contributed to dramatic increases in the district’s overall graduation rates, as well as graduation rates for African-American students.
“Andrew is a significant addition to our team as we grow, evaluate, and refine the Catapult Academy model. His knowledge and experience in academic program development and management will be invaluable as we expand our program’s reach from Florida to California,” said Catapult Learning CEO Stuart Udell.
As Catapult Academy continues to expand throughout Florida and Georgia—as well as to California—Mr. Post is focused on developing high-quality Catapult Academy programs that support districts’ goals of improving graduation rates while also successfully meeting the needs of its students.
“I look forward to continuing the development of Catapult Academy into the premier educational solution for secondary school dropout prevention and recovery in partnership with existing and future school districts by graduating historic highs, both in-cohort and overall,” said Post. “Our impact will be positively felt by both the students we serve and the districts we partner with.”
