Movable Ink Hires Salesforce Veteran to Fuel Global Partnerships and Distribution Channel Growth
New York, NY (PRWEB) June 16, 2015 -- Movable Ink, the contextual experience engine for innovative email marketers, today announced the recent addition of longtime Salesforce and ExactTarget executive Brian Winters as Vice President of Partnerships, Alliances and Channels.
Mr. Winters is a highly accomplished partnership and channel strategist with a decade-plus track record building global partner sales, program, and operations teams for leading enterprise software companies. In his new role, Winters will develop and oversee Movable Ink’s multi-channel strategy, including all relationships with email service providers (ESPs), resellers, agencies, and alliance partners.
“Strategic partners were a huge driver of our early success when we introduced contextual experiences to email in 2010,” said Vivek Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Movable Ink. “With our eyes on the future, we see tremendous opportunity to build on our momentum with new partnerships and a cohesive channel strategy for indirect sales. Brian’s wealth of experience will be instrumental in advancing this part of our company’s growth.”
Mr. Winters most recently spent nine years at ExactTarget, through its IPO and acquisition by Salesforce. In his most recent position as Director of Partner Programs, Global Alliances and Channels, Winters spearheaded the integration of the ExactTarget/Marketing Cloud partner program into the Salesforce Partner Program. At ExactTarget, Winters helped grow the company’s channel partner program from $1M in annual revenue to more than $100M in six years. Previously, Winters managed business development for various advertising and content publishing SaaS companies.
“Movable Ink today reminds me of the disruptive force ExactTarget was nine years ago when I joined,” said Winters. “Movable Ink is at a critical juncture as one of the fastest growing SaaS companies around, and I look forward to solidifying our foothold as the leader in contextual marketing with a well-designed and executed partner strategy.”
