The Mytasca product was designed to remove as much guess work as possible when it comes to connecting companies with college students to hire and is adept at identifying diverse groups that will ultimately contribute to inclusive workplaces.

According to Borgerding, many companies and their corporate recruiting staffs want to follow Kaiser Permanente, Progressive Insurance, or Target Corporation’s examples of creating a more inclusive workplace and most don’t know how to get there. Many larger colleges now have specific LGBT centers on campus and these and other diversity candidates can otherwise be located through the Career Centers, which Mytasca has a myriad of contacts readily available.

Mytasca’s comprehensive data is the result of three years of research plus long term relationships with many of the 4,500 institutions (representing every college in the U.S.), both online and brick-and-mortar campuses. Subscribers using Mytasca can quickly identify diversity (gender and ethnicity) data on every institution by entering the discipline and degree of study, desired zip code, number of mile radius away from the company to see key statistics and then a list of contacts in key departments including the career centers, diversity, disability, LGBT, and veteran’s affairs departments for access to institution personnel who will provide leads to candidates.
