Vets2Careers™ Partners with Montana Code School to Launch First Coding Boot Camp Initiative for Veterans in Montana
Missoula, MT (PRWEB) July 16, 2015 -- Today, America Campaign™ launches its newest initiative, Vets2Careers. Vets2Careers™ addresses the skills challenges veterans face in finding long-term careers through intensive boot camp style training programs. The goal is to help veterans leverage their military experience while learning new skills that open up new career paths.
“With the explosive growth of coding boot camps and the tremendous opportunities available in Montana’s technology sector, we are excited to partner with Montana Code School to offer scholarships for veterans and military spouses to attend the School” said Devin B. Holmes, Founder of the America Campaign™. “In this intensive teaching format, individuals with little to no programming skills can learn the skills required to find an entry-level coding job in just 12 weeks.”
The Montana Code School was launched as a cross-sector community driven initiative to tackle the immediate need in Montana’s startup and technology sector for qualified junior developers. The School is modeled after several successful coding boot camps that are currently operating in other startup hubs around the globe.
The partnership between Vets2Careers and Montana Code School is part of the initial launch of the American Campaign’s mission to improve the lives of all Americans and the nonprofit communities that serve them.
