Trail & Ski's Strengthens Patagonia Clothing Line Support
Tallahassee, FL (PRWEB) July 21, 2015 -- As Patagonia continues to produce its clothing with environmentally-friendly and socially-responsible materials and processes, Trail & Ski strengthens their support for Patagonia’s clothing line.
With all the efforts put toward consumer safety, conserving resources and recycling materials, Trail & Ski wants to support Patagonia’s clothing line to all the potential consumers. Patagonia’s awareness for the environment and their consumer’s well-being is the motivating factor keeping Trail & Ski involved with their products.
The majority of Patagonia’s clothing uses BlueSign fabrics, which carry the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment. By using BlueSign, not only are the people wearing the clothing safer, but the environment also isn’t impacted as negatively and harshly as it could be.
Patagonia’s Common Threads Partnership works with customers to reduce consumption, repair anything that can be fixed, and recycle whatever is worn out. This way, it’s a group effort to reduce the amount of waste in the environment, as well as improving the efficiency and quality of Patagonia’s products.
As a member of 1% For The Planet — an organization striving toward positive environmental change — they pledge to at least provide 1 percent preservation and restoration of the natural world, equaling out to $55 million to date. Furthermore, Patagonia belongs to Fair Trade USA — enabling sustainable development and community empowerment by cultivating a more equitable global trade model that benefits farmers, workers, consumers, and industries of the earth.
