The company is showing its line of high-density MPEG transcoders, EdgeQAMs, DVB-C QAM modulator and other DVB PCIe cards for OEMs, and content security solutions that are applicable worldwide.
VideoPropulsion continues to push the envelope for the highest density and lowest cost digital television appliances. Its flagship FG-5000 Series MPEG Transcoder is now capable of transcoding over 300 streams in just 3U of rack space. Propelled by the company’s new XC10 transcoder card, the FG-5000 supports transrating and transcaling full MPEG2 HD resolutions down to smaller H.264 formats suitable for mobile, over-the-top (OTT), and TV Everywhere applications. The multi-format transcoder supports MPEG2 to H.264, H.264 to MPEG2, and H.264 to H.264 and is scalable from 6 streams to hundreds.
VideoPropulsion also offers a plethora of content security solutions in the form of real-time scramblers/descramblers and encrypting EdgeQAMs. These turnkey appliances are built using industry standards such as Pro:Idiom, SamsungLYNK, Verimatrix, VSECURE, Conax, and other DVB-CI and DVB-CSA standards.
