Amazon Workers the Happiest in Analysis of Over 1 Million Tech Engineer's Tweets
(PRWEB) September 03, 2015 -- Peakon, an analytics platform for improving employee engagement, has just released results of a study into the engagement of Amazon, Google, and Facebook employees based on the sentiment of their publicly available Twitter data. Amazon workers came out top, followed by Apple, and then Google.
“Following the recent furore around Amazon’s management practices,”, said Peakon co-founder Dan Rogers, “we were interested in seeing whether we could measure their employee’s sentiment based on publicly available Twitter data. The outcome was quite surprising; Amazon employees came out top, both on the sentiment of their tweets, and on how often they tweeted about their employer.”
Peakon analysed 1.2 million tweets from approximately 1000 Twitter profiles belonging to engineers and developers from Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and Facebook. For more information on the study, please click here.
