Jefferson Energy Cooperative Enhances Its Distribution Operations with New Survalent ONE ADMS Technology
BRAMPTON, ON (PRWEB) September 24, 2015 -- Jefferson Energy Cooperative (JEC) was in need of a new SCADA system that would enhance its internal operations and a solution provider with strong track record of high customer support satisfaction.
With the primary objective to smoothly transition to a new control system with minimal impact to their control room and operators, JEC chose the SCADA monitoring and control technology component of Survalent ONE ADMS (Advanced Distribution Management System) for its integrated technology platform, single network model and database, advance functionalities, large customer based experience, and high customer satisfaction.
JEC deployed a dual-redundant SCADA system with the most advanced, latest graphical user interface, SmartVU. A full suite of MultiSpeak interfaces enable JEC to have standard data exchange for engineering analysis, outage analysis, load management, AMI and GIS system. The SurvCentral application provides JEC with capabilities to make better decision more quickly with mobile browser access to their SCADA information such as operator summary, substation line diagrams, alarms and distribution network map.
Other advance functionalities include Control Panel for quick configuration and access to field devices, and Network Topology Processing.
