Trapit Announces Salesforce Integration and Senior-Level Hires
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) September 29, 2015 -- Trapit, the leading platform for authentic social selling and employee advocacy, today announced the company’s integration with Salesforce and the appointment of two senior-level sales and marketing hires. Effective immediately, Bill Harris has joined the growing leadership team as Vice President of Sales and Bruce Wilson as the Director of Product Marketing.
The addition of Harris and Wilson to the senior team supports Trapit’s sustained momentum following the launch of their all-new platform in April. In his role as Vice President of Sales, Bill is responsible for leading the sales process by helping brands connect their salespeople, customers and prospects with authentic conversations inspired by high quality, relevant content. He joins the team with over 20 years of experience in sales, finance and business development, most recently as Vice President of Sales at Vsnap.
“I was immediately impressed with both Trapit’s technology and team, and am thrilled to join the company as it enters such a pivotal period of growth,” said Harris. “Having spent much of my career in sales, Trapit’s platform is one of the best social sales enablement technologies I’ve seen, and a crucial solution for companies looking to leverage the quickly expanding role of employee advocacy.”
Bruce Wilson likewise brings valuable experience to Trapit. In his role as Director of Product Marketing, Wilson is responsible for facilitating effective communications between Trapit customers and Trapit’s customer success, sales, marketing and product development teams to support the best possible experiences and results. He brings over 25 years of experience in business development, relationship management, consulting and social leadership. For three years, Wilson guided social media strategy, content, and customer communities for Microsoft’s Worldwide Enterprise Marketing team and supported social selling and peer-to-peer programs throughout Microsoft’s international subsidiaries.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Bill and Bruce to the Trapit team,” said Hank Nothhaft, Jr., Trapit CEO and Founder. “Both have a deep understanding of the challenges facing the enterprise today. As more and more companies are looking to achieve greater social ROI through social selling, we’re excited to be able to grow to meet the demands of the market and deliver an even greater value for our customers.”
Alongside the new hires, Trapit also today announced its integration with Salesforce. The integration enables Trapit customers to access curated content seamlessly through their existing Salesforce workflow. As a result, Trapit expects to expand their number of thousand-seat deployments for enterprise customers more rapidly than any other platform in the social selling and employee advocacy market.
Last week, the Trapit Blog also won the 2015 Silver W3 Award from The Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts honoring superior creativity on the web. The Trapit team strives to produce the same caliber of content their sales teams promote, and will continue to do so as the team and platform grows.
