“Nanotech Industrial Solutions, Inc.” (NIS), the US based innovative nano-lubricant company, reports major interest for its Metalforming fluid product line, based on its IF-WS2 tungsten disulfide fullerene like nano particles, with record number of business inquiries in October.
“NIS’s main sales drivers were always the traditional AW/AF Oil and Grease Additives, but this major interest in the recently launched Metalworking products is hardly surprising to insiders,” says Rick Nachenberg, who was named NIS’s Director of Regional Sales in September 2015.
With a BS in Chemistry, an MBA in Marketing and Finance from the University of Illinois, more than 20 years of experience in the lubricant business and after hectic but satisfying two months with the company, Rick who still retains a fresh “outsider” outlook with recently acquired insiders knowledge of NIS’s inner workings, is in a unique position to comment on the push to implement the IF-WS2 formulated technology into metalworking fluid applications.
“Switching from chlorinated paraffin based Metalworking fluids has been a long term goal for the industry. That’s why our R&D team’s recent success in developing an IF-WS2 water dispersion is truly groundbreaking.” says Rick. “This water based product’s ability to reach 800kg in EP Weld Load in 4-Ball tests, with as little as 1.5% of our fullerene like tungsten disulfide nano particle powder concentrate is incredible. This, combined with our traditional oil based metalworking product line, puts us in a unique position to spearhead the change.
“As the industry is changing due to new environmental friendly regulations, we are confident that we will be able to provide customers with even better metalworking fluids, as chlorinated paraffin use becomes more restricted. This was very evident in the response I got when presenting this to several leading players in the recently held ILMA 5th International Conference on Metal Removal Fluids.
“I am very happy to be part of Nanotech Industrial Solutions and the truly innovative technology that we bring to the lubricant industry,” concludes Rick.
