Mathseeds Releases a Brand New Map With Five Additional Math Lessons
(PRWEB) November 24, 2015 -- The creators of Mathseeds, an interactive online math program targeted to children aged three to eight, have just released a brand new map.
Map 27 is set in Mexico, with five unique critters for children to collect once they complete each lesson.
The new content covers key math skills and concepts, including word problems, fractions, number patterns, vertical subtraction, and comparing mass.
Each Mathseeds lesson includes a range of interactive online activities and animated characters designed to motivate young learners and encourage them to progress through the various maps.
With its latest release of Map 27, Mathseeds now includes 135 online math lessons which travel through 27 unique virtual environments, such as Canada, China, and the Galapagos Islands.
At the end of each map, children complete a multiple-choice quiz and if they pass, they are awarded a printable certificate. Parents can also access an online dashboard where they can track their child’s progress and download assessment reports.
Mathseeds has become a popular early learning resource for homeschoolers and elementary schools in the United States. Susan G, a member of the Homeschool Buyers Co-op, says "My five-year-old son regularly uses Mathseeds. Sometimes he will push to finish a lesson a day, and sometimes he just uses a few games in the lesson."
“He loves when he finishes the lesson and sees the acorn hatch. I love it because it teaches math in such a fun way. The animation quality is excellent.”
Mathseeds is compatible with PC, Mac, iPad and Android devices. The program can be accessed directly via the Mathseeds website through a browser or by downloading the Reading Eggs Student app for the iPad. For more information on compatibility, please visit http://www.mathseeds.com/about/faqs/.
