The result is more time for teaching and learning. - John Flora, senior vice president, Renaissance Learning
Birmingham, AL (PRWEB) November 30, 2015
LTS Education Systems, a trailblazer in adaptive, digital game-based learning solutions, and Renaissance Learning, a leader in K12 assessment and learning analytics, today announced a strategic partnership that simplifies the work of accommodating individual students' learning needs.
Increasingly, school systems are seeking adaptive online learning solutions with an ability to integrate third-party assessment results. The partnership between LTS and Renaissance Learning equips teachers to deliver personalized interventions to their students that are directly aligned to skill deficiencies identified by Renaissance Learning’s STAR Reading and STAR Math assessments. The richness of STAR’s test result data allows for a 360-degree view of a student’s competencies. Stride will utilize this data to inform and guide its intuitive adaptive engine to ensure that students’ learning experiences in the Stride online program lead to success.
With the integration of these two tools, Stride will allow administrators and teachers flexible options for importing Renaissance Learning STAR assessment data to drive the individual learning paths for students. “Educators will be able to import up-to-date STAR assessment results as they see fit, in order to drive the Stride F.A.S.T. 360 adaptive engine. They will also find that allowing the adaptive engine ample time to remediate and carry out specialized interventions between assessments will help produce significantly higher scores and improved learning,” explained Ernie Gray, chief technology officer for LTS.
“The difference in the personalized learning experience from our standpoint is the way we deliver it,” said Brian Shulman, CEO and founder of LTS. “Game-based learning is incredibly engaging for students, and we are predicting unprecedented results for those students who will be using these two products combined. We couldn’t be more excited about the partnership with Renaissance Learning.”
“At Renaissance, we’re always looking for ways to save teachers time and reduce the testing burden,” said John Flora, senior vice president of products at Renaissance Learning. "STAR assessments are used in over 36,000 schools worldwide to provide an accurate picture of student performance and growth, and they are the first step to developing individualized learning paths. With this integration, teachers can now make great use of the powerful STAR assessment data they already have and save time previously spent manually importing data. The result is more time for teaching and learning.”
The integration is available immediately to users of Stride and Renaissance Learning’s STAR assessments.
