Saint Luke’s Health System Announces Plan to Build Multispecialty Clinic in Overland Park
Kansas City, MO (PRWEB) December 08, 2015 -- When Saint Luke’s Specialty Clinic–Mission Farms opens its doors in 2017, it will represent an entirely new concept of care for Saint Luke’s Health System, allowing members of the community to access a wide range of services and treatment options in one convenient location.
Saint Luke’s Specialty Clinic will offer patients a wide range of treatment options, including a primary care office, housing 11 primary care physicians utilizing a new redesigned care-team model supported by four nurse practitioners. In addition, patients will have easy access to select specialty services in the same location, including dermatology, GI, endocrinology, and cardiology. On-site ancillary services include imaging (CT, X-ray, bone density, ultrasound), lab, and outpatient pharmacy, as well as a Saint Luke’s Convenient Care clinic.

Bonney, senior vice president, Non-Acute Services and Business Development for Saint Luke’s Health System. “By combining primary care, urgent care, lab, imaging, and pharmacy, as well as access to multiple Saint Luke’s specialists, we are offering an entirely new healthcare option for patients. This will provide easier access to treatment, save patients’ time, and streamline care.”
Construction will begin in January 2016 on a 48,300-square-foot, three-story building in Mission Farms, the successful mixed-use community located between Leawood and Overland Park. Saint Luke’s will lease 35,000 square feet, with the option to add an additional 7,500 square feet in the future. The remaining 6,500 feet will house small retail shops still to be determined. The project is in partnership with Mark Sutherland, and developer, Doug Weltner.

In mid-2017, a second Specialty Clinic will open in Blue Springs. It will be anchored by primary care and feature select specialty and ancillary services, including lab and select imaging modalities.
