jKool Broadens its Application Analytics with a New Data Collector Ecosystem
Melville, NY 11747 (PRWEB) December 10, 2015 -- jKool today announced its new data collector ecosystem designed to bring application analytics to a greater audience of users. Starting today, businesses can use these collectors to find and fix problems faster, deliver releases sooner and be more proactive in their application support. Using jKool, these businesses can spend less time fixing problems and more time delivering a great user experience to their customers.
The growing set of collectors now includes support Logstash, Apache Flume, HDFS and JMS. Logstash and Apache Flume, used to centralize data processing of logs and metrics can now send data to jKool for analysis. The new collectors will take advantage of existing platforms leveraging existing input and output plugins in order to stream data to jKool. Consolidate and analyze all of your existing Apache Flume and Logstash data sources along with other data in jKool and get situational analysis of your applications in seconds.
jKool now supports HDFS and can natively read and parse logs located in HDFS.
The new JMS & Kafka collectors read off queues and stream data to jKool. Application specific data, including events and metrics enrich other data sources as part of application analytics.
In addition to the collectors listed above the ecosystem includes collectors for Servlets, Web Logs, JMX, Garbage Collection, Java Logs, Syslog, Apache Spark and many more.
jKool also provides a RESTful API, a cloud-enabled service that can be used to send any sort of data to jKool using REST. Developers and DevOps practitioners using this RESTful API will benefit from an easy-to-use, REST API that makes it easy to send JSON to the cloud service. The jKool API is integrated with Swagger so that developers can use the Swagger SDK Generator to auto-generate a client API making it still easier to engage with the jKool Cloud Service.
jKool’s instant analytics provides immediate value to DevOps and IT Ops professionals who need to find and fix problems faster, deliver releases sooner and be proactive. These users can leverage jKool’s ability to analyze and visualize both historical and real-time data and provide answers immediately.
