SAE Nashville’s Demonstration of Ableton’s New Live 9.5 and Push 2 Draws Capacity Crowd
Nashville, TN (PRWEB) December 22, 2015 -- SAE Nashville hosted an interactive demonstration of the newest studio production tools by Ableton, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of digital workstations. Presented at the event were Ableton’s Live 9.5 music production software and the Push 2 pad-based sound controller.
“Given the level of excitement in the marketplace about Ableton’s new products, it’s no wonder that we had a packed house for their event,” says Chris Dilday, Lead Studio Technician at SAE Institute Nashville. “Our students not only got a taste of how they can utilize these incredible tools in their current studio projects, they also learned how having this knowledge can increase their economic value as they pursue careers in the entertainment industry.”
Leading the demonstration along with Dilday was Huston Singletary, Ableton’s East Coast Territory Manager and full time music producer, freelance sound designer, film composer, music technology author, and studio owner-designer.
Dilday, who is also an Ableton certified trainer, believes that SAE Nashville’s technology events offer a number of benefits for students.
“The audio technology tools that we use as producers and engineers are constantly evolving, and our faculty makes sure that our students are always up-to-date with the latest developments,” says Dilday. “Also, these types of eventsoffer great opportunities for students to network with the industry professionals who are in attendance. By making these valuable connections, they’re able to build meaningful relationships that will serve them well as they launch their careers after graduation.”
