Inn at Longwood Medical's Hope Teddy Bear
We’re excited to give back to our most courageous guests with Hope the Teddy Bear,” said Gayle Sinclair. It’s our wish that Hope will inspire and comfort each and every guest, including children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.

The city of Boston is a more hopeful place this winter season, as The Inn at Longwood Medical introduces its mascot, Hope the Teddy Bear with a special video. Hope serves as a friendly and welcoming face to all guests, but especially so to those children receiving treatment at Boston’s medical centers. In order to promote Hope and her mission in the Boston community, children staying at The Inn at Longwood Medical will receive a complimentary Hope the Teddy Bear and coloring book upon check-in.
Hope received her name as the result of a Facebook contest in which friends of the hotel were encouraged to help decide the bear’s name. To celebrate Hope, The Inn at Longwood Medical’s website has a dedicated page, complete with a brief video, to tell Hope’s story. From an early injury and subsequent care by Boston’s finest physicians, to enjoying local favorites like lobster and Fenway Park, Hope’s story chronicles her adventures both at The Inn at Longwood Medical and the many attractions nearby.
The Inn at Longwood Medical looks forward to introducing guests to Hope during their visit. In addition to the complimentary Hope the Teddy Bear and coloring book received upon check-in, children will also eat free at Longwood Bar and Grill during their stay.
