BluFocus Approved as Official AACS2 Authorized Certification Entity
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) January 25, 2016 -- BluFocus Inc., an advanced testing and certification company for the entertainment industry, announced today it has been approved as an AACS2 Authorized Certification Entity (ACE) for performing AACS2 compliance testing on Ultra HD Blu-ray™ players.
The AACS2 specification provides the ability for consumers to enjoy exciting, new, flexible entertainment experiences while continuing to provide the traditional, straightforward playback mode, for the new Ultra HD Blu-ray™ format. Additionally, AACS2 is designed to create unprecedented portability and security for entertainment content. BluFocus’ role will be to conduct compliance testing on AACS2 Licensed Products such as Ultra HD Blu-ray™ players to ensure that they satisfy the Compliance Rule requirements.
