Remote Lands Appoints Phil Ingram as Director of Global Marketing.
Bangkok (PRWEB) January 29, 2016 -- New York and Bangkok-based ultra-luxe private Asia tour operator Remote Lands has appointed Phil Ingram as its new Director of Global Marketing. Ingram is based in Hong Kong and divides his time between there and the company's Bangkok headquarters.
Working with New York-based Co-Founder & CEO, Catherine Heald, and Bangkok-based Co-Founder & COO, Jay Tindall, Ingram will oversee all aspects of marketing for Remote Lands globally, and spearhead some major initiatives to develop new market segments and expand Remote Lands’ digital publishing capabilities.
Ingram, a UK native, has worked with Tindall before, serving as his Director of Marketing at both Online Media Company, The Black Box, in Hong Kong, and global Internet portal play, Orientation.com, in New York.
“Phil is an exciting addition to the Remote Lands team,” said Tindall. “His knowledge and experience of global and regional marketing, and his extensive expertise in digital publishing will play a central role in our growth plans for 2016 and beyond.”

Prior to his appointment, Ingram ran his own eponymous digital marketing consultancy. Before that he co-founded web development and digital marketing firm Upstart in Hong Kong which was sold in 2007. He has also previously held managing director roles at Digital Island and Cable & Wireless Asia in Hong Kong. He has lived in Asia for over 20 years.
