Dallas, TX (PRWEB) February 04, 2016 -- The Something for Kelly Foundation is inviting the community to attend its 3rd Annual Benefit Gala with functions going on in Dallas, Texas and O’Fallon, Illinois.
This year's Dallas fundraiser features musical entertainment by Miss Carolyn Lee Jones and renown speaker Michal Berg, CEO of Spirituality For Kids. Hungry guests, generous donors and esteemed members of the media will also enjoy a silent auction, impressive food options that are expertly paired with stunning wine selections.
“Our mission is to empower children ages 6-12 to take control of their predisposition to eating disorders. Established in 2013, the foundation is geared towards preventing eating disorders such as anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating and body dysmorphic disorder. The most aggressive and deadliest of all eating disorders - anorexia nervosa - affects 1 in every 100 girls, with recent studies showing girls as young as 8 being hospitalized with the condition,” says The Something For Kelly founder Patti Geolat. Through its programs and services, the foundation is committed to rebalancing the lives of children in this age demographic so that the grim prospects don’t materialize.
