POWERHANDZ and The Power to Give Foundation Hosts Private Screening of “Concussion”, Highlighting the Importance of Player Safety While Playing Sports

At the event, POWERHANDZ will be promoting Sony’s #GAMECHANGERS campaign which is aimed to celebrate everyday people who tackle challenges and triumph in the face of adversity.
POWERHANDZ and The Power to Give Foundation’s mission for this red carpet event is to focus on player safety for athletes and inspiring youth to be leaders in their community. Thousands of athletes play sports and POWERHANDZ and The Power to Give Foundation aim to further develop those skills while teaching and advocating player safety. The event will feature a red carpet entrance for guests from the Boys and Girls Club of Dallas, Top Achievers, Man-Up and several top youth athletes and athletic programs. There will be media interviews available on the red carpet, fun giveaways, the screening of the movie and a panel discussion with former NFL Wide Receiver Bethel Johnson, NFL Veteran Safety, Jordan Pugh and DFW Neurologist, Dr. Julio Andino. K104’s National Radio Personality, DeDe McGuire will moderate the panel.

The red carpet event will take place at the Cinemark 17 and IMAX at 11819 Webb Chapel Rd in Dallas, TX on Saturday, February 6, 2016 with the red carpet and media interviews starting at 3:15pm, the movie screening at 4:15pm and the athlete panel discussion to follow.
