What:
Come and enjoy the sights and sounds of watching nearly 30 hot air balloons launch simultaneously. Once they are back on the ground you can rub elbows and mingle with the pilots. Take a spin on some of the carnival rides, eat the delicious delicacies offered by the food vendors and, weather permitting, take a ride in a tethered balloon. Go back in time as you cruise through the classic cars on display. In the evening, bask in the glow of the lit up balloons.
Why:
It’s not every day you can stand next to these gigantic beasts and not only listen to the roar of the burners filling the envelope but feel the heat as hot air fills up the balloon. It’s a wonderful family opportunity for fun and excitement.
When:
Friday, February 26 through Sunday February 28, 2016. Each day at 6:00 AM for Balloon Launch and 6:00 PM for Balloon Glow. Friday vendors open at noon, Saturday and Sunday vendors open at 8:00 AM.
