Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI) and GE Oil & Gas Expand Land Drilling Strategic Partnership
Houston, Texas (PRWEB) February 11, 2016 -- Waukesha-Pearce Industries (WPI), a distributor of Blowout Preventers (BOP) and drilling system technologies in the US, announces an expanded partnership with GE Oil & Gas to sell, maintain, and repair GE’s line of Hydril pressure control products. WPI will represent GE’s line of Hydril pressure control products, including blowout preventers, pulsation dampeners, and valves, in the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford shale, and Marcellus shale regions. This expands the companies’ strategic partnership that launched on the west coast in 2015.
“Now is the time to increase commitment to our domestic, land-based customers,” said Mitch Williams, Commercial Leader for GE Oil & Gas drilling systems products. “When the market is down, performance and partnership are pivotal to our customers’ success. By bringing high-quality GE Oil & Gas products and qualified WPI services closer to our customers, we are improving speed to market and investing in the future of land drilling operations. WPI has always focused on long-term customer relationships, so this strategic partnership is a perfect fit.”
“For well over a year, WPI has been working hard to build-out our product and service infrastructure across the entire U.S.,” said Fred Stow, Director of Sales for WPI. “This partnership expansion with GE Oil & Gas will leverage that broader platform and allow us to better serve our customers in the oil and gas exploration and production industry.”
