EnterWorks Lands Major Retail Clients, Grows Team in 2015
Sterling, VA (PRWEB) February 09, 2016 -- EnterWorks, a leading provider of master data management (MDM) and product information management (PIM) solutions, announced today its 2015 accomplishments, including the addition of new retail clients, significant product improvements and notable team growth.
With its push in retail that leveraged its strong CPG customer base, the company won three major retail clients in home furnishings, cosmetics and office products industries in 2015. EnterWorks’ expansion in omnichannel retail was built from its consumer products expertise in manufacturing and wholesale distribution as retailers are increasingly adopting an enterprise content networks view for their collaboration with their supplier base. Brands and retailers are partnering to enrich content and serve up differentiated experiences to increasingly digitally oriented consumers – while needing sophisticated product information management to handle both physical and digital content.
“As we move into 2016, we’re fulfilling our core strategy to serve as an essential connection point between brands and retailers,” said Rick Chavie, CEO of EnterWorks. “Our wins in the retail space last year help build on our Business-to-Business-to-Customer (B2B2C) business model for content collaboration and customer experience enrichment across both industrial and consumer brands.”
In addition to expanding its core client base, EnterWorks made improvements to both its product and team in order to further the company’s mission to provide clients with a single view of content. On the product front, EnterWorks made changes to better connect physical and digital content while implementing an enhanced technology stack, support for product variants, and its workflow engine. At the same time, Chavie being named as CEO in the first half of 2015 was followed with aggressive hiring in sales, marketing, partnering and solution management, drawing executives from key competitors.
“The new team members come from significant roles in the MDM/PIM, commerce and marketing domains to execute on our vision for omnichannel content and commerce,” said Chavie. “In addition to delivering on our product improvements with our core team, these senior hires are helping us push the envelope on delivering on the promise of content value chains across a variety of product verticals.”
EnterWorks was recently recognized in Gartner’s Critical Capabilities Report, which was released in December of 2015. In the report, EnterWorks made substantial progress from the previous report in early 2015, and was named an industry leader for its user friendly product and ability to effectively centralize product content for manufacturers and retailers alike.
