Cowboy Up: An Evening of Collaboration for PTS & Mental Health Research. Global nonprofits, CDISC and One Mind, have partnered to find new and better treatments for Post-Traumatic Stress (PTS) and Mental Health, and bring further attention to this disease that affects 7.7 million people each year.

CDISC is an Austin-based global, nonprofit, charitable organization, and is considered the patient’s advocate, leading the charge for data synchronization so that patients participating in clinical research can be assured that their information contributes to a valuable cause and will not end up unused in silos. CDISC standards are considered the gold standard for medical research around the world. These data standards are used in more than 90 countries and are required by the U.S. FDA and Japan’s PMDA for evaluating new treatments for various diseases and afflictions.
One Mind is an independent, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to benefiting all affected by brain illness and injury through fostering fundamental changes that will radically accelerate the development and implementation of improved diagnostics, treatments, and cures – while eliminating the stigma. One Mind believes in open science principles and creates global public-private partnerships between governmental, corporate, scientific, and philanthropic communities.
