Rich Powers Joins Prosperoware with Focus on Information Governance
Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) February 29, 2016 -- Prosperoware, a leading enterprise software company delivering innovative technology that connects the business with the practice of legal and professional services, is pleased to announce that Rich Powers has joined the company as Sales Manager, Americas, Information Governance. A legal technology veteran, Powers will helm sales in the U.S. for Prosperoware’s Milan family of products.
In addition to seeking to drive better adoption of their iManage systems, law firms must substantively improve their information governance processes. A spate of recent legislation in the U.S., E.U., and elsewhere has led clients to implement more stringent information governance policies, including a fundamental shift from the legacy “share everything” security of the past to new “need-to-know” policies. Firms are seeking to implement more robust solutions to address these governance, risk, and security requirements without causing problems of workflow implosion.
Prosperoware provides a complete set of products that enable firms to better organize and govern their content. The Milan InfoGov platform delivers the industry’s most comprehensive ethical wall and confidentiality management solution on the market, providing an intuitive and powerful interface for risk teams and matter owners alike. Additionally, Milan’s iManage Add-ons set the industry gold standard for firms seeking to optimize their investment in iManage and looking to drive lawyer adoption of their DMS and digital matter files.
Rich brings more than 27 years of experience in Sales and Marketing and Operations Management and is expert at understanding clients’ requirements and translating them into solutions that address critical business needs. Prior to joining Prosperoware, Rich served as Director, Western Region, and Channel Manager for Litéra Corp., and previously held an executive role at DocAuto as Account Director.
John Kenyon, Vice President of Sales at Prosperoware, comments: “This is an exciting time for Prosperoware and Rich’s appointment is aligned with our heightened focus on enabling organizations to better manage client confidentiality and drive greater lawyer adoption of their document management systems. Rich makes a great addition to our team.”
Rich adds: “I joined Prosperoware because I recognized the opportunity to provide a complete set of products to help firms make better and more appropriate use of their iManage DMS. I’m looking forward to working with Prosperoware’s existing customers as well as prospects, partners, and the team here through this next phase of growth.”
