Paragon Windows & Doors Announces New Executive Vice President
Louisville, KY (PRWEB) March 01, 2016 -- Newly formed Paragon Windows & Doors, formerly THV (True Home Value), recently announced the appointment of Charles “Larry” Smith as its new Executive Vice President. In his new position, Smith will be responsible for expanding sales and customer relationships within Paragon’s existing network of dealers and distributors, as well as adding new dealers to that network.
Paragon Windows & Doors, “Home of the Compozit Window”, manufactures products that are made from expanded polymer composite, a material produced in the presence of physical/chemical blowing agents, resins and modifiers -- which results in foaming materials with closed cells to enhance and improve the window’s impact resistance, weathering characteristics and thermal performance. Paragon also manufactures a complete entryway system, including steel and fiberglass entry doors, and color-matched storm doors.
PTHV Acquisition LLC, an affiliate of Soft-Lite LLC, based in Streetsboro, Ohio, recently acquired the assets and product lines of THV Holdings. The newly formed Paragon Windows & Doors will continue manufacturing at THV’s Louisville, KY, facility, and will utilize Soft-Lite’s expertise to streamline its operations and ensure the company produces high-quality products that are delivered on-time, every time. Smith’s strong customer relationships, combined with the support of Soft-Lite’s award-winning sales and marketing team and other administrative support, will help grow the Paragon brand quickly and effectively in the marketplace.
Smith has more than 20 years of experience in the window and door industry. He has spent the last nine years serving as Chief Executive Officer of True Home Value (THV) and grew the company to $20 million in sales. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Thermal View from 2001 through 2006.
