Classic Turf Company Completes Athletic Court Projects at Whippany Park High School and Hanover Park High School in New Jersey
Woodbury, Connecticut (PRWEB) March 16, 2016 -- Classic Turf Company prides itself on the construction of high-performance athletic courts and tracks. With a hefty portfolio of residential, club, municipal, school and specialized rooftop athletic courts, there is no project outside of Classic Turf’s scope and experience. The company is excited to announce the completion of two athletic court projects in New Jersey; ten brand new courts at Whippany Park High School and Hanover Park High School.
These new courts will help countless students hone their game and enjoy an outlet for self-improvement and physical health. Not only that, these courts will also be an effective tool for bringing the community together.
With a total of ten courts altogether, five new post-tension concrete tennis courts were added to Whippany Park High School and five to Hanover Park High School, coming to a combined total of 65,000 square feet of playing surface. Classic Turf Company has given the two schools a 20-year structural guarantee to the new post-tension concrete tennis courts. This means no more worries about big cracks and puddles, both major concerns when using asphalt for building athletic courts.
The type of concrete used in the athletic courts is both economically sound and environmentally friendly, with material crucial to constructing the most superior athletic courts possible today. This results in a sturdy, durable playing surface that can withstand all types of abuse, including long-contested matches and elements such as rain or snow. The stability of these courts is second-to-none and each court will last for many years to come. To enhance this system, Classic Turf Company also added their patented Prime Coating Sports Surface, which is a coating system that seals and protects the concrete slabs against the weather. This sports surface differs from others on the market as it has unlimited recoating properties, allowing courts to be recoated without having to remove existing acrylic prior to the application of the new surface.
