Celebrate Spring at Alta with the Annual Alta in April 2 Week Long Event
Alta, UT (PRWEB) April 02, 2016 -- Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau announces Alta in April 2016, a 2-week long celebration to spring skiing at the iconic resort.
“April is a great time to ski Alta. The base is deep and the sun is shining! We have several fun events and great deals throughout April,” comments Alta Chamber and Visitors Bureau (ACVB) Executive Director Maggie Sullivan.
The 10th annual Alta Gala kicks off on Friday, April 8th. This collaborative fundraiser for Friends of Alta, Alta Community Enrichment, and Alta Historical Society raises awareness for the arts, environment, and the history of Alta.
Spring skiing is all about sunshine, smiles, and snow, and the event schedule for this year's Alta in April truly embodies that mindset.
Friday, April 8 – 10th Annual Alta Gala. Celebrate & support three non-profits in Alta. Party the night away at La Caille!
Saturday, April 9 – Demo Day. Demo 2016-17 skis from dozens of manufacturers. Enjoy apparel sales and live music on the Goldminer’s Daughter Lodge deck!
Monday, April 11 – Winter Bird Survey with Tracy Aviary.
Friday, April 15 – $10 Beer & Brats at Alf’s Restaurant.
Saturday, April 16 – Alta Earth Day and $10 Beer & Brats at Alf’s Restaurant. Enjoy live music by Stonefed from 2-6pm on the Alf’s Restaurant deck.
Sunday, April 17 – Live music by Talia Keys at Watson Shelter, 1-3pm.
Sunday, April 24 – Live music by Talia Keys at Albion Grill, 1-3pm.
