Sev1Tech Successfully Novates on to GSA OASIS Small Business Pool 1
Woodbridge, VA (PRWEB) April 04, 2016 -- Sev1Tech, Inc., a leader in providing IT, engineering, and program management services to government and commercial clients, today officially announced that through acquisition of a division of Ruchman and Associates, Inc. (RAI), they successfully novated onto the General Services Administration (GSA) One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (OASIS) contracting vehicle under Pool 1, Small Business as of December 2015. The novation of Sev1Tech onto OASIS has also positioned the company as the only DHS TABSS Domain 1 small business with prime contractor access to the GSA vehicle.
OASIS Small Business is a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (MA IDIQ) task order contract administered by the General Services Administration (GSA). This vehicle can be used by all Federal agencies and GSA approved entities. OASIS SB has been designed to address agencies’ need for a full range of service requirements that integrate multiple professional service disciplines with the flexibility for all contract types and pricing at the task order level. Core disciplines for OASIS include Program Management, Management Consulting, Scientific, Engineering, Logistics, and Financial services. Information Technology and ancillary services are also incorporated into these core disciplines.
With the impending discontinuation of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Technical Acquisition and Business Support Services (TABSS) vehicle in 2017 and transition of all TABSS work to OASIS, the novation of Sev1Tech onto this contracting vehicle is critical as it allows the company to continuing competing as a small business prime. Sev1Tech will continue to offer enhanced solutions and deliver extraordinary performance as TABSS task orders transition to OASIS.
“The GSA OASIS program team is one of the most judicious I have worked with in the Federal Government,” said Bob Lohfeld, Jr., President and CEO of Sev1Tech. “Every “i” was dotted and “t” was crossed as we endeavored through the rigorous novation process. To novate, Sev1Tech had to meet all the original requirements of the procurement including a financial evaluation, DCAA accounting system review, and an OASIS proposal submission to make sure we would score within a high competitive range. This strategic vehicle will allow us to continue serving the DHS mission and to make investments into new markets where we can leverage our DHS, DOD, and commercial solutions expertise. The entire company is behind our success on this vehicle and realizes how fortunate we are that everything came together. OASIS, along with upcoming strategic changes in how we operate with more employee engagement in 2016, will position us for exponential growth.”
Sev1Tech will be hosting an open event called the New2Oasis Partnership Program to meet our team and discuss partnering strategies.
