Fursan Travel appoints Berthold Trenkel as CEO
Riyadh (PRWEB) April 06, 2016 -- Mr. Trenkel joins Fursan Travel from Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT), the world’s leading travel management company, where he served as EVP Traveler Services and member of the Executive Team. He spent the last 7 seven years running CWT’s global operations with over 14000 employees being based out of Singapore and Paris, and before that was responsible for CWT’s Asia Pacific region for over 4 years. Prior to his time with CWT, he was a partner at top management consulting firm McKinsey & Company, based out of Seoul, South Korea and Stuttgart, Germany where he worked for 11 years serving clients on strategic and operational issues across a multitude of sectors ranging from airlines, petro chemicals to telecommunications and travel & logistics.
A German national, he holds Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering and in Business Administration from the University of Stuttgart, Germany.
