LawChampion: The Law Office of Mitchell A. Greenberg, Esq. is marking its one-year milestone practicing criminal, personal injury, malpractice and workers’ compensation law. “The LawChampion team is proud to celebrate our one-year anniversary as an independent law firm, fighting for our clients’ rights and needs with the passion and skill of a warrior champion,” said the firm’s founder, Mitchell A. Greenberg. “Years ago, people had champions who fought for them, and battled in their place against the accuser’s best, and that is what the LawChampion does.”
Greenberg himself has been practicing law for 25 years, concentrating in the fields of criminal defense, workers’ compensation, motorcyclists’ rights, personal injury and special education law. “The decision to leave my family’s law firm after twenty-four years was not easy or hastily-made, but I wanted to streamline my practice and incorporate a new attitude and focus,” said Greenberg. “It’s been a phenomenal year, and our goal is to continue empowering and battling for our increasing number of clients, and to be accessible to each one.”
Greenberg is particularly active in the field of workers’ compensation law and, in fact, served a two-year term as Chair of Maryland’s Joint Task Force for Injured Workers’ Rehabilitation. He is also an active speaker on workers’ comp issues and has presented seminars to many organizations, including the Maryland Workers’ Compensation Educational Association, Maryland Trial Lawyers’ Association, the National Rehabilitation Hospital, Maryland’s Joint Task Force for Injured Workers’ Rehabilitation and more.
With experience gleaned from trying cases for the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office, Greenberg has represented clients in a dozen homicide cases and has obtained excellent results in all of them. In fact, he has won every murder case he’s tried, and has gotten several thrown out prior to trial. He also has phenomenal success with DUI cases, both in the criminal courts and at the administrative (OAH/MVA) hearings.
As an avid motorcyclist, Greenberg is the attorney for Maryland’s Confederation of Clubs, and is active in fighting for the rights of bikers to be free from profiling and discrimination. Additionally, he runs with homeless people in Baltimore City as part of Back on My Feet, and has served as team leader, training coach and race coordinator for Team MCVET.
