Gateway Media announces changes to better compete in online publishing space

Gateway Media today announced restructuring actions in its St. Louis office to better position itself as a leader in today’s evolving online publishing space. In 2015, the company made two large acquisitions, and, which added more than 30 employees across the US and Canada. Today’s restructuring allows Gateway to take advantage of synergies gained during these acquisition. The company is also taking actions to better serve its millennial audience, enhance its already strong relationships with partners, and boost the reputations and reach of its current portfolio of brands.
As part of the move, the company is pleased to announce the launch of Gateway Blend, an in-house, full-service creative resource that draws together Gateway’s programming talent and editorial expertise to create innovative marketing programs for brands. Gateway Media has established Gateway Blend to meet increasing brand demand for premium, original advertising content that speaks to its 120M unique visitors. The content and programs created by Gateway Blend can be integrated natively into Gateway’s properties as well as be distributed across multiple platforms and channels.

Gateway Media is also pleased to announce this week that its CFO, Jeff Sanders, was named CFO of the Year by the St. Louis Business Journal. Additionally, three of its sites have been honored by the prestigious Webby Awards: is a nominee for the 2016 Best Food and Drink Website, received an honorable mention in the Car Sites and Car Culture division, and is an honoree in the Humor Division.
