UW-Milwaukee's Matt Tiby Wins HERO Sports Performance of the Year
Bellevue, WA (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- HERO Sports announced University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Forward Matt Tiby as the winner of the D1 Men’s Basketball Performance of the Year for his effort on December 16th against the University of South Dakota.
Tiby tallied 31 points, 17 rebounds and 2 assists in a 92-91 double-overtime loss to University of South Dakota. Tiby also scored the 1,000th point of his college career in the game.
Tiby earned the honor by securing 49% of the fan vote in the HERO Sports Performance of the Year poll. In second place was Virginia Military Institute’s Q.J. Peterson who finished with 32% of the vote for his 46 point, 9 rebound, 4 assist outing against Mercer on February 25th.
