Soliant Health’s 2016 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) April 22, 2016 -- Soliant Health, a leading specialty healthcare staffing provider and part of Adecco Group, is looking for the Most Beautiful Hospitals in America.
For the eighth year in a row, Soliant Health is now accepting nominations for the Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. at http://www.mostbeautifulhospitals.com. There are no special requirements to submit nominations, except that the hospital or facility is located in the United States. The nomination period runs until May 15, 2016 and is immediately followed by a month-long voting period.
In recent years, Soliant’s Most Beautiful Hospitals have been determined solely by the number of votes received, leaving the choice of winners entirely at the hands of voters. Measures such as architectural style, photogenic properties, landscaping, provider and patient experience will be considered but will not be determining factors for the 2016 winners.
“Last year, we received more than 400,000 votes in our seventh year of hosting Soliant’s Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals,” said David Alexander, president of Soliant Health.
“That staggering figure tells us that our winning hospitals are not only admirable for their physical beauty, but for the unrelenting pride each community displays for their hospital throughout our contest and beyond.”
The Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals of 2015 featured first time and returning winners, such as Forest Park Medical Center in San Antonio, TX, Elmhurst Memorial Hospital in Elmhurst Ill., Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News Va., and Flagler Hospital in St. Augustine, Fla. A newcomer, Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus Ga., collected the highest number of votes and earned Soliant’s Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. for 2015 distinction. It also broke the record for most votes ever received by a single hospital in the contest’s seven-year history with almost 100,000 votes.
“Phoebe Sumter Medical Center is honored to be selected by Soliant for this prestigious award and national recognition,” said Brandi Lunneborg, CEO of Phoebe Sumter Medical Center. “Phoebe Sumter is a beautiful facility with the best a modern hospital has to offer, delivering a patient-centered, healing atmosphere. The physical beauty of the hospital is enhanced daily by the pride, support and love of our staff and our community who are dedicated to its success. We are so excited to share this wonderful award with them and thank them for their continued faith in us to provide them with the best healthcare in southwest Georgia.”
Phoebe Sumter’s win came just a few years after an F7 tornado ravaged the town of Americus and rendered the facility unsafe for use, forcing the hospital to function out of temporary facilities donated by FEMA. Phoebe Sumter Medical Center was rebuilt in 2009 to better serve the needs of its growing community. This new LEED-certified state-of-the-art facility features an eco-friendly rooftop garden, all-private patient rooms, and HCAHPS scores that exceed national standards on quietness and cleanliness.
