Taken from a consolidation of statistics from over 500 global brands, the report reveals key cart abandonment and remarketing statistics from January, February and March 2016.

Report highlights:

  • The average global abandonment rate was 74.32% in Q1 2016, showing a continual downward trend since Q3 2015.
  • Asia Pacific has the highest global abandonment rate at 75.9% despite having the highest B2C sales shares by region.
  • Mature markets, Europe and Northern America are experiencing the lowest global abandonment rates at 71.5% and 73.1% respectively.

The report also reveals the effectiveness of remarketing to consumers who are either about to abandon a purchase, or who have recently abandoned, with stats on on-site, email, and for the first time, SMS remarketing included in the infographic.
