Radweb and Niche Communications celebrate one year of cutting-edge ‘Work Management System’ (WMS) with over 100k orders

It took software experts Radweb 18 months to build but Niche Communications is now celebrating over 100,000 orders through its custom workflow system a year on.

Now we have been using the system for over a year I am still finding it incredible just how much this system does and how much it continues to revolutionise our working life.

The state of the art Work Management System controls every aspect of the company’s business in one easy to use platform, to streamline its work for its network of UK wide customers. The 90,000+ orders which it has received is compiled from requests for floor plans, professional photography, EPC’s, and inventories.

Niche managing director Peter Burnham said: “Now we have been using the system for over a year I am still finding it incredible just how much this system does and how much it continues to revolutionise our working life. This system has replaced and does the job of three previous inefficient, piecemeal systems we were using, reducing the level of administration required and has dramatically improved our customer service levels. The dynamic reporting function is extremely flexible in allowing us to monitor our business in a way not possible previously, to say we’ve streamlined is an understatement. I just can’t stop grinning!”

More than just an order management and fulfilment system – the back office area of the WMS is huge. Managers can access every single piece of information and data from the company because every action is logged through the system. This allows management to have the opportunity to produce complex reports about any aspect of the business but also monitor the smaller things.

Clients requiring any of Niche’s services can log-in and add any of their deliverables to a basket, these include EPCs, inventories, photo packs and floor plans to name a few. The system takes care of all the pricing and billing too, and alerts everyone involved including tenants.

The order then processes through the system to automatically assign each task to the best staff member for the job. The assignee then schedules the appointment, completes the task and sends it on through the system for processing.

The processing team will then produce the final, polished files for the customer. Once completed the customer is automatically emailed to download their deliverables immediately.

The streamlined service is about making it easy for the customer to do business with you. Radweb’s system can easily plug into any third party software already in place so connecting with other systems allows Niche’s WMS to remain effective and competitive for the foreseeable future and continue to do the great job it has done until now.
