Propeller Adds Additional Speakers for Upcoming Innovation Festival, The First of Its Kind in the Northeast
Hoboken, NJ (PRWEB) May 06, 2016 -- Today, Propeller, the first day-long event uniting innovators and technologists of the Northeast, announced the addition of new keynote speakers to the festival, slated to take place in Hoboken, NJ on Friday, May 20. With more than 5,000 attendees expected to attend, the day will consist of keynotes from the Northeast’s top influencers, a startup competition hosted by Techstars, recruitment lounges from sought-after technology employers and more than 50 exhibitor booths and product demos.
Among those taking the stage include best-selling author and VaynerMedia CEO Gary Vaynerchuk, EIR at Cornell Tech and Former CIO of Verizon Judith Spitz, City of New York CTO Minerva Tantoco, Angel Investor and Founder of Gotham Gal Ventures Joanne Wilson, Author, Investor and Entrepreneur, James Altucher, Co-Founders of Alley Jason Saltzman and Nsi Obotetukudo, Managing Partner at Flatiron Investors Laurel Touby, Managing Director of Techstars Jenny Fielding, Grind Co-Founder Benjamin Dyett and Work Market Founder and President, Jeffrey Wald. The speakers will discuss a range of topics at the intersection of technology, innovation and startup culture.

Additional activities throughout the day will include a startup competition co-hosted with Techstars and Newark Venture Partners, over 50 exhibitor booths featuring the latest projects from technology’s brightest minds, the opportunity to network with like-minded innovators, in lounges sponsored by DigitalOcean and Justworks, Venture Capital “speed dating” session for entrepreneurs, and a Jet.com recruitment Bar & Lounge.
Interactive guest experiences will also include a virtual reality demo area presented by Audible, a drone competition, Human Digital Orchestra presented by Bell Labs, an Immersive VR Sound Chamber by Stevens Institute of Technology and a Hello & Demo Bar with live startup demos. Local food and drinks will also be served, with a portion of all proceeds going to charity.
