Hacienda Tres Ríos Triathlon Successfully Celebrated Its Sixth Edition in a Festive Ambiance of Family Fun
Cancún, Quintana Roo (PRWEB) May 18, 2016 -- Sunset World Resorts Vacation Experiences’ multi awarded eco-tourism resort was the proud host of the Hacienda Tres Ríos Triathlon that successfully celebrated its sixth edition exceeding expectations with more than 500 athletes and 1,500 spectators who gathered in the early hours of the morning at Tres Ríos Nature Park.
Fiona Bernal and Manuel Serrano were the absolute winners of the most spectacular triathlon in the Riviera Maya and Sunset World announced that the seventh edition will take place on May 14th 2017
Cancún, Q. Roo (May 2016) Hacienda Tres Ríos dressed up to the nines to receive more than 500 athletes and 1,500 visitors in a festive ambiance of healthy family fun in the 6th edition of the Hacienda Tres Ríos Triathlon, where the absolute winners were Fiona Bernal and Manuel Serrano.
The most spectacular sporting competition in the Riviera Maya was held very successfully this past Sunday with great success exceeding the expected number of participants and audience who experienced this festive event full of adrenaline, music and fun.
The absolute female and male champions were Fiona Bernal and Manuel Serrano, with times of 01:12:59 and 01:02:07 respectively after swimming 750 meters, cycling 20 kilometers and running 5 kilometers receiving their awards for their efforts and dedication with the presence and applause of the sporting community and companions who gathered at Tres Ríos Nature Park.
From the early hours of the morning, hundreds of competitors who accepted the challenge of improving their personal best, arrived at Sunset World Resorts & Vacation Experiences’ eco-tourism resort to enjoy this traditional sporting celebration in a beautiful sunny day with unique natural surroundings.
The sporting event, guaranteed by the Mexican Triathlon Federation and the Quintana Roo Triathlon Association, began at 7 am with individual and relay adult categories as well as children’s categories in 4 divisions that went from ages 6 to15.
Finally, at the end of the celebration which included music, hydrating beverages, food and surprise gifts as part of the very important ceremony to award the athletes that won in the different categories, it was announced that the seventh edition of the Hacienda Tres Ríos Triathlon will be held on May 14th 2017.
